On September 15, 2022, the Supreme Court of Canada heard our arguments during a historic visit to Quebec - a first in 150 years of history!

The collaboration between Sarailis Lawyers and Groupe SGF ensured the challenge of the constitutionality of articles 5 and 10 of the Cannabis Control Act. It was a significant case for our firm and was brilliantly handled by the entire team. Congratulations to Maxime Guérin, Christian Sarailis, Jacinthe Fortin and Anna Palnikova !

Despite the Supreme Court's decision, our efforts in this case have shown that we have the means to achieve our ambitions. Our efforts are our success. Arguing this constitutional case before the Supreme Court of Canada was a privilege and an honor for us!

We have proven that it is possible, even for a smaller firm, to contribute to the evolution of Canadian law and jurisprudence all the way to the Supreme Court!
